SSAT Tutoring

We offer in-home tutoring for the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) structured around the specific academic needs of each student. The SSAT is used by high schools to help determine the viability of the candidate for admission. Students in grades three through eleven who are looking to enter a private school may expect to find themselves taking this test as a part of the application process. SSAT is becoming more common between North and West Vancouver’s private schools. Gaining admission to these schools may be difficult, and so it is important to score well on the SSAT if a student would like to attend. Thus, we offer a program that will integrate actual test materials and pinpoint each student’s strengths and weaknesses in order to dramatically improve scores on test day.

SAT Tutoring

The SAT and ACT both assess the college readiness of each test-taker, and many colleges and universities require prospective students to take one of these exams in order to apply for admission. The most selective institutions typically require near-perfect scores before they even consider applicants, and while these scores would be difficult to obtain alone, perfecting the SAT or ACT is possible with rigorous test preparation, including courses and tutoring. Thus, we offer a program in North Shore that will integrate actual test materials and pinpoint each student’s strengths and weaknesses in order to dramatically improve scores on test day.

GRE Tutoring

The GRE is an exam used as an assessment tool by a variety of graduate schools, including nearly every type of master’s or doctoral program in the United States, as well as some MBA programs. In order to determine the academic readiness of students applying for a limited number of spots at competitive graduate programs, colleges use the GRE to determine whether or not each student has the necessary skills to succeed in their coursework. Once the test scores are reported, it is up to the individual school to determine the admissions status of each student. Gaining admission to graduate school is often a challenging and subjective process, and so it is important to score well on the GRE if a student wants to improve their chances of attending. Thus, we offer a program that will integrate actual test materials and pinpoint each student’s strengths and weaknesses in order to dramatically improve scores on test day.
